JOB OVERVIEW/PURPOSE

Responsible for processing mortgage loan files for manufactured homes using the Encompass loan processing system to include initial set-up, data entry, initial financial analysis, verification of credit, red flag and fraud alerts, appraisal and employment. Review application package to determine information and documentation needed to process the file to meet the requirements of the submitted loan program. Obtain all necessary documents and/or information by contacting applicant or vendor as necessary. Communicate with Loan Consultant, Underwriters and Document Specialist personnel to ensure a smooth and timely closing of the loan. May type loan documents. This position performs all essential duties in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Bank policies and procedures.

* May complete input of new loan files into processing system.
* Review assigned loan files for completeness and accuracy and conformity to the loan program listed.
* Review Credit Report and clear all Inquiries, Discrepancies, Red Flags and Alerts.
* Prepare and send all appropriate state and federal loan disclosures. Redisclose when changes occur.
* Prepare and electronically send all appropriate verification forms.
* Obtain any missing information or condition with appropriate agency, client or loan consultant.
* Verify employment, credit report, asset and income statements and vesting and ID documentation. Collect HCD documentation, salvage documents when needed. Obtain current ID and Trust Certification when needed.
* Send appraisal to applicant once the underwriter has reviewed the appraisal. Obtain Evidence of Insurance.
* Process the loan file to the underwriting guidelines of the submitted loan program, review submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.
* Ensure that the Loan Processing System matches the file documentation and reflects the current information status.
* Senior level-Prepare Loan Estimate, Change of Circumstance and Closing Disclosures for TRID loans.
* Submit the completed loan file to underwriting. Once decisioned, coordinate with Loan Consultant the collecting of the Underwriters’ conditions of approval outstanding items. Coordinate proof of paid Insurance with client.
* Maintain status update of assigned pipeline and assist others as needed to move files forward.
* Communicate and document files as items come in or at least weekly, including files withdrawn or referred for denial to underwriter.
* Communicate with Underwriter to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.
* Communicate with Loan Consultants, Applicants, Escrow, and Docs/Funders to resolve issues efficiently and effectively to ensure timely loan closing. Become thoroughly familiar with and comply with CWB Credit Policies, Insurance and Processing Guidelines.

* Meets response and resolution times as defined in service level agreements and/or service requests and follows established processes to meet service level commitments.
* Cross trains in additional functions of the department, such as Loan Documents and Funding when needed.
* Completes all required regulatory training as assigned within deadlines established including BSA, Bank Security and any other training as assigned, within required timeframes and on an annual basis
* Other duties and/or projects as assigned by supervisor

Experience and Skills

* Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
* Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably at a financial institution
* Prior Credit administration or Portfolio Management experience preferred
* Prior lending authority preferred
* Sr. Level - Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably at a financial institution
* Sr. Level - Pre-underwrite loan files with accurate income and ratio calculations.
* Prior Credit administration or Portfolio Management experience preferred.

Job Benefits

Compensation:  Salary ranges from $50,000 to $68,000 per year.  The salary range is determined by the role, job duties, and position level and reflect the minimum and maximum target for  new hire salaries.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by job – related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
